We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble scanning a product in the Livingood Daily App!
Here are some tips we recommend trying first to help your scanner work more smoothly on your device:
- Clean your camera lens. Even a small smudge can make it harder for the scanner to focus clearly.
- Adjust the distance between your camera and the barcode. Hold the barcode close to your camera first, then slowly move it away until the image becomes clear and the scanner captures it.
- Some Android devices may automatically use a wide-angle camera lens. This can make it harder to properly focus on barcodes or small text like ingredient lists, so adjusting distance is especially important.
If the barcode won’t scan, the product may not be in our database yet. You can still check it by using the Ingredient Scanner:
- Hold the label so the ingredient list is visible.
- Slowly move the camera back until the text is easy to read.
- Capture the image.
- Adjust the selection box around the ingredients.
- Tap to analyze.
